SAFE AND HEALTHY WORKING ENVIRONMENTS
We require that the working environments of our partners be structurally safe, hygienic, and conducive to both physical and mental health and well-being.
FAIR WAGES
Our workers are paid well above the minimum wage set by the International Labour Organization, a United Nations agency. Fair wages mean workers can support themselves, their families, and their communities.
INCLUSIVE EMPLOYMENT
We only support inclusive workplaces that do not discriminate based on gender, age, ethnicity, political preference, religion, or sexual orientation. Diverse and inclusive workplaces are healthier and happier places.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
We enforce minimum age requirements for all workers. We aim to stop child and youth labor worldwide so that children have the freedom to play and receive an education.
FAIR WORKING HOURS
Working hours should be fair and have a set schedule. Standard working hours should apply, with weekends and holidays. All overtime should be voluntary and paid at a much higher rate.
NO DEBT BONDAGE
Debt bondage should not exist, although millions of workers worldwide are in debt bondage. As a form of slavery, workers are forced to work to pay off a debt. They must work even when sick and are punished if they try to escape.
